From 1950 to 1955 America was in the grip of McCarthyism. McCarthyism (The Red Scare), while rooted in earlier actions by others against communists/socialists, began in earnest when Senator Joseph McCarthy gave a speech on February 9, 1950, to the Republican Women's Club of Wheeling, West Virginia. During the speech, he brandished a piece of paper, which he claimed contained a list of known communists working for the State Department:

"I have here in my hand a list of 205—a list of names that were made known to the Secretary of State as being members of the Communist Party and who nevertheless are still working and shaping policy in the State Department." [He NEVER actually showed his 'list']

McCarthy rapidly became one of the most recognized politicians in the United States and over the next 5 years, the "Red Scare" resulted in the blacklisting of hundreds of people in radio, television, movies, news, politics, science and more.

On January 30, 1933 a fringe politician was appointed Chancellor of Germany. The established parties, the military, and the leading industrialists were convinced that they could control him....

Immediately after his appointment, Chancellor Hitler went after the comedians, newspapers, universities, and radio stations that publicly criticized him. He then went after the leaders of the opposition parties using false charges in the courts, propaganda attacks, as well as secret and public terror campaigns. Most importantly, he perverted the judicial system. Within a few months, the political, social and judicial restraints on him were gone and public adoration of Hitler was the norm. Any remaining dissidents were pulled into courts (if they were 'lucky') or simply disappeared into newly established internment camps.

A KEY factor in ending the tyranny of McCarthyism was the US Supreme Court (Chief Justice Earl Warren) which issued a series of decisions protecting American civil liberties and the freedom of speech. Unfortunately, in 2025, the US Supreme court under Justice Roberts has not, to date, shown such an adherence to, or belief in, either the letter or clear intent of the US constitution. Conservative Supreme Court Justices often justify rulings by claiming to be "Originalist Doctrine" believers.

This doctrine requires them to view legal challenges in the context of 1776... an era of slavery, an absence of rights for females, flintlock weaponry, primitive science, and an ignorance of 21st century technology, social norms, and evolved morality. Moreover, the failings of the Supreme Court are exacerbated by a Republican (actually MAGA) Party that has willingly ceded the power of Congress to an authoritarian Presidency.

Indeed, all this was clearly spelled out in the Project 2025 Handbook that has been put in play by the second Trump Administration which calls for changes to historical norms to produce an all powerful executive (i.e., President)

Trump's assault on the fabric of American democracy has been rapidly chilling over the first 9 months of what is likely to be a very long 4 years of ever increasing imperial edicts from the would-be Emperor. Neither the Republican party nor the Supreme Court appear willing to reign in the tyrannical excesses of Emperor Trump. Voices of opposition, even exceedingly well funded ones, have refused to fight as Trump has weaponized the Department of Justice, Federal Communication Commission, Center for Disease Control, Security and Exchange Commission, Federal Drug Administration, National Institutes of Health, Department of Transportation, Internal Revenue Department, State Department, and virtually every other component of the Federal Government to target Trump's critics while enriching himself and his supporters.

This neoclassical sculpture, over 17 cm tall, was hand carved by inmate Ned Ander-Thal to commemorate the birth of the NEW AMERICAN 'Republic'. Ned, having shown his skills in the stone quarry of the exclusive Trump-a-Traz Resort [the Mar-a-Lago of San Francisco Bay] was appointed as Head (and body) Sculptor for 'The Garden' following his recent re-capture and incarceration in America's 51st state.

Derived from an original sculpture (Donaldus Maximus) by Julien Mairy, Ned carefully crafted a stunning RED, WHITE, and BLUE version showing the Emperor's LOVE for inclusion in the AMERICAN NERO GARDEN.

Generalissimo tRump

This neorealist sculpture, also standing almost 17 cm tall, was similarly created and handcrafted crafted by inmate Ned Ander-Thal to commemorate Generalissimo tRump's victory over Antifa... and the US Constitution. The sculpture captures the determined confidence of the GREATEST AMERICAN GENERAL ever [some say he is even better than Hitler!].

In fact, because of Generalissimo tRumps skill as Commander in Chief, he named himself as the first ever 10-Star General.

As noted, his uniform is RED, WHITE and BLUE! But, other details are also worth note. There is a hint of currency GREEN (from when he reaches into the pockets of others for BILLION$) and WEHRMACHT GREY in honor of his personal heroes of World War II. Most importantly, there is the ketchup stain on his overly long tie!

More Sculptures of AMERICA's BESTEST EVER PRESIDENT skillfully crafted by Ned will be added over time!

ABOUT THE GARDEN: Open to the public daily with an entrance fee of a mere 500 Trumpcoin ...if you can actually locate it's secret site.
